  A new wedding invitation design has been added to the Invitation Portfolio. These beauties represent a winter wedding in which the client wanted a warmer and more personal feel to the design. Handcrafted, as always, using an array of patterned papers working together to create this elegant result. Under the translucent top sheet lies a light golden swirl pattern, bearing the details of the affair. Set on textured black cardstock, a distressed-edge golden cardstock and coral-colored patterned paper serve as the color accent at the top, finished with a cream, paper flower and silver brad.   Upon completion of a website development project between my colleague Andrew Degenhardt and I, we decided to send the client a unique thank-you card. I agreed to create one on behalf of the team, and am quite fond of the result. Therefore, into the Artwork Portfolio it goes!

  Recently I was asked to write an article for Canadian Scrapbooker magazine on the use of typography in scrapbooking designs.
